聖安東尼奧馬刺6日主場出戰洛杉磯快艇，兩隊都遇到「背靠背」的體能問題，但黑衫軍以92：116慘敗，為對戰以來最糟紀錄。
這是馬刺與快艇隊史第160次交手，之前馬刺最多輸23分，那是2013年12月17日，該役黑衫軍全隊只有3人得分雙位數，包括已經退休的Tim Duncan，今天的24分差距已經刷新紀錄。
「真糟糕的比賽。」馬刺阿根廷老將Manu Ginobili說：「他們在每個部分都痛宰了我們。」
馬刺今天團隊命中率只有40.5%，本季最低，失誤15次平本季最多，反觀快艇只有8次失誤，命中率飆破5成。
由於兩隊都是連打兩天，全場只有快艇中鋒DeAndre Jordan上場超過30分鐘，而馬刺儘管戰局吃緊，仍大膽啟用13人輪替，登錄球員全部出賽，上場時間最少的Dejounte Murray都有9分鐘。
事實上，馬刺總教練Gregg Popovich上個星期就曾輪休LaMarcus Aldridge與Tony Parker，「波總」解釋是因為這兩人都有顯在的膝蓋問題，才會在季初就開始「養生」。
馬刺之後將有4天休息，Popovich表示：「考慮到我們的賽程，這對我們來說是好事，我們真的需要一些時間休息。」
快艇Blake Griffin攻下全場最高28分，主控Chris Paul得9分、10助攻，馬刺新一哥Kawhi Leonard得到14分，但命中率只有23.1%。
